Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) requires certain group of companies to file their annual reports in the XBRL format. XBRL is a specific data format that requires the use of software to enable convert the information disclosed in the annual reports in the format prescribed by MCA (taxonomy). MCA expects the XBRL documents filed by companies including Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss Statement, Cash Flow Statement, Schedules related to Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss Statement, Notes to Accounts, Statement pursuant to Section 212 of the Companies Act, 1956 relating to subsidiary companies, Disclosures from auditors and directors report and General information about company as per the existing provisions of law.
